The giant panda
The giant panda is one of the most interesting creatures on earth because of it's interesting eating habits. The panda's is related to the bear ,but it's eating habits could not be more different. Why do pandas only eat bamboo? The answer is in it's home the bamboo forest. Bamboo grows fast and is plentiful so pandas adapted to easy food. So the panda started eating bamboo ,but most of it is not digested. A panda will eat up to 40 ponds of bamboo a day.
The giant panda has changed to better cope with it's environment. It has flexible paws to hold and twist bamboo. It has also managed to turn into from a carnivore to a herbivore.
The giant panda does not mate often. Pandas are only fertile (ready to have a baby) for two days. Panda cubs are small when they are born ,but grow fast. Cubs will learn how to survive be for leaving mom.
With china being developed and bamboo forests being cut down pandas are scarce ,but there is still hope. Panda breeding centers brought 16 new panda cubs to the world. However the cubs are probably destined for zoos.

Donald Duck in math magic land
I found it funny how clueless Donald Duck was. math can be found in almost everything, I can't believe Donald didn't notice that, I thought more a lot of Donald Duck. I knew most of the things that the video taught me I recognized some of the characters. Pythagoras and his Pythagorean s I read about them only a couple days before funny how that turns out. The only thing that surprised me was how many games have math in them.
Charles Darwin
This week I learned from about Darlene fetches and his trip to the Galapagos Islands. Darwin visited many places on his voyage and took note of the different mutations of Mockingbird on the other islands of the Galapagos. he found that there were mutations in the finches and turtles on the islands as well.
