The prayingmatis

One morning I was looking out my window and I saw a prayingmatis me and my mom looked up haw to be shore of what general the prayingmatis. You can find out what general by looking under the prayingmatis. If it is a female it will have 5 lines under the prayingmatis, but if it is a male it will have 8 line.

Lightning thief

In the beginning of the book Percy Jackson is just a normal boy we watch as he finds out all about his heritage and learns how to use it to his advantage. Percy gets attacked by a fury also Known as a kindly one he takes it down with a pen that transform into a sword. Then he got attacked by a Minotaur, lost his mother and got to camp half blood. Shortly after he got Camp he was given a quest. He when with his companions Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase.So I went on their quest to the underworld. Will they return from their quest?

How to make yogurt

Started cleaning a container. You can the basic ingredients at the grocery store you will need milk and a starter of yogurt only quarter cup. Then you must warm the milk don't let it boil. Milk watch the milk close remember you don't want to boil after that you can put in the fudge. Cool down to about 110° you put in the container that you washed earlier and keep it in a warm place for a couple hours. After a couple of hours are up to get out the warm place and yum yogurt.

How to dry herbs

You start by cutting the leaves off the Bush. Then you onto taking off the stems. Put them in a bowl water to clean them. After that pat down with paper towels. When you are done they can go into the dehydrator. Overnight the water will go away and then you have tea or dried herbs.

My experiment: I wade before and after they were dehydrated I found out that a lot of the weight was water that they in fact were 87% water

Making tomato sauce

Making tomato sauce starts by cutting off all the yucky bits. After that you put a whole bunch of tomatoes in a metal piece like a net. It goes into a pot of boiling water. When they have been in the boiling water for a good one minute you put them in a cold rinse softening them so you can get off the skins and chop them up. After that through the food mill they go.before you put in the other items you have to it simmer down for hours. And then into the pot with Basil and Oregon,onion, garlic and salt.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Harry Potter an 11 year old boy who, after both of his parents were killed, was taken in by his aunt and uncle. Harry was stuck at his aunt and uncle's house until Hagrid, the Hogwarts school grounds keeper, got him and brought him to platform 9 ¾ to go Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.

At platform 9 ¾ Harry met Ron Weasley. On the Hogwarts Express Harry and Ron met a girl named Hermione Granger, a girl that is keen on following rules. When Harry got to school he enjoyed sailing over the lake with Ron. At school Harry found a new talent at riding broomstick in a game called Quidditch. On Halloween, an ogre got into the Castle. When Harry saved Hermione, she lightened up on the rules.

Then Harry, Hermione and Ron had to get through a series of obstacles and had to go against Voldemort. Harry won, but got knocked unconscious. He was moved up to the hospital wing, and the next day he was fine. Then he went back to Privet Drive, where his aunt and uncle live, for the summer.

My opinion: I think that my one of my favorite books is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, because of the amazing mixture of fun and amazing personalities.

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets starts by Harry needing to escape from his own room! Then they go to the barrow (or the Weasley's house) after meeting up with Hermione. Harry, Ron and Hermione all got onto the Hogwarts Express.

When they got to school they had a feast like last year. Then went back to their rooms. That Halloween they were at a party for Nearly Headless Nick a ghost at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.

When Harry Heard a voice Harry went to investigate. Ron and Hermione couldn't hear the voice. Then they start to find more and more victims petrified around the school. Everyone suspected Harry of it.

But it turned out to be a boy from Hogwarts named Tom Riddle (Lord Voldemort) only an image out of a diary that Jenny, Ron's younger sister, who was being controlled by it! When they found Jenny she was in an awful state knocked unconscious on the floor. She nearly died but luckily she survived.

My opinion: I think the whole Harry Potter series is amazing, but I specifically like this book for the use of secrecy and mystery. Read the book, and you'll find out more about what I mean.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

This year Harry got so annoyed with his grandma that he blew her up like a balloon. He ran away by getting on the night bus. When he got off he met up with Ron and Hermione then went to the Barrow.

After that Harry Ron and Hermione went back to Hogwarts to start another year. But this year it was different because a murderer was on the loose. The Dementors (guards at Azkaban) were spread around the school like a swarm of bats. Dementors weren't allowed on school grounds. Harry was badly affected by Dementors.

Harry was not allowed to go to Hogsmeade, but he went anyway. Harry, Ron and Hermione ended up running into the murderer, Sirrius Black! He was mad that he was wrongly convicted of a murder he was not responsible for.

(I don’t want to give away spoilers, so I will keep this simple.)

After a string of events, Harry and Hermione woke up in the hospital wing with Ron still unconscious. Harry and Hermione traveled back in time, stole a magical creature, and went to where Sirrius Black was and brought the creature to him so that he could get away. Then Harry, Ron and Hermione went back to their homes.

My opinion: I like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban because of how quickly it turned around and how quickly the murderer went from murder to the friend in under two chapters and how with that one night everything changed.
